*new* Loveless December 2009 Chapter~! Options

Hello Everyone~!

How is everyone doing? I hope you guys had a great Halloween stuffing yourselves with your bag full of candy . Putting that aside, Kio is finally back from his captivity from unexpected encounter from his identical twin sister who calls herself Chouma Kio. But this time he is visiting some distant relative or niece from a rich family. Kio really has me wondering now XD. I have some guesses, he was either kicked out from the family because of his mishap or maybe it has something to do with him as a sacrifice involving Septimal Moon decision to separate him from his twin sister (again this is just a theory. Sorry if it causes some outburst from this impossibility. But it could be possible…)

As some you might have already know, volume 9 of Loveless will be out this month on November 25, 2009. I also noticed the ad in this chapter has Ritsuka with his glasses and short-shorts with those thigh high socks (posing a smug-girlish way). This is probably for the color insert for volume 9.

Oh... so this is the chapter where Kio is released? I mean... I am confused as hell. Not that it matters since the.... new... incredibly mary sueish character you are using spoiler things to hide, has made me lose faith in Loveless' ability to return to being really good. I mean, Im sorry but that is one of the most mary sue like things I have ever seen.

The point being, is this the chapter in which he meets her or is this the chapter AFTER that one?

BUT the main point being Im done reading and have serious doubts that it will be that good any time soon.... if you are gonna argue that the... plot twist involving kio's... family member.... is good writing, well I suggest you go read other "good" literature such as Eragon and Twilight. (you = anybody who honestly wants to argue that kind of lame plot twist after an incredibly pointless fight is GOOD writting)

on the topic of the Bloodless fight.... THA HELL was the point to that? SERIOUSLY, its like... after the fight they just exchanged hostages anyway, nothing really came from it, to quote The Handmaiden in KOTOR II "Such would be fighting for the sake of fighting" that is what the battle was... there was no bloody point to it aside from wasting time.

Feh.

In fact, I have my own theory about kio.

His entire family is made of mary sue characters. 50$ says he, in fact, has a brother who was orphaned as a child and is the Chosen one who must restore order to the (fill in blank) by engaging in sword fights with about 10000 enemies and coming out victorious...

His father is secretly the King of Gondor and has to reforge the sword that cut the ring from Saurons finger and become the leader of the free peoples of middle earth.

His mother is some sort of supernatural being who chose to be with a human....

and I can't think of any other mary sue like characters at the moment but I digress.

but he has me wondering too... is yun kouga EVER going to explain the bloody motives of the seven moons?

sorry if I sound rude but since the conclusion of volume 8 I have been really unsatisfied with the chapters and the general direction Kouga has been taking the series..... I mean Kryakalala or whatever it is (I do that with everyones name) met her and asked questions.... I'd give my left nutt to do that as I would ask two questions and two questions only

"WHAT THE DEVIL ARE THE MOTIVES OF THE SEVEN MOONS?!?!?! SERIOUSLY!? WHAT DO THEY DO?!?!"

and

"WHAT WAS THE POINT TO THE BLOODLESS FIGHT? Its like if the FBI met a hostage taker, they shot him in the foot, he shot one of their agents in the foot, they exchanged hostages and left"

Im just really upset with the direction the series is taking... back in the day it was REALLY focused, BAMN septimal moon killed seimei and seimei sent soubi to ritsuka, BAMN message from Sleepless, BAMN zeros show up, BAMN meets a member of Seven Moons, BAMN 2nd zeros show up and nagisa and ritsu's rivalry, BAMN Seimei faked his death? BAMN nisei is introduced, BAMN we see seimei alive, BAMN both are going to Goura, BAMN they meet annnnnnnd ANTI-CLIMAX extrodarnare.. my summary of seimei and ritsuka meet.
Seimei: hi ritsuka

Ritsuka: Why does everyone think your a dick

Seimei: INCREDIBLY LAME DIALOGUE (seriously"its because... I kill... I kill") Do you love me ritsuka?"

Ritsuka: Yes? But why does everyone think your a dick?

Seimei: IF YOU AREN't WITH ME YOUR AGAINST ME! IM LEAVING NOW!!!!!!!

and now we spent about a YEAR waiting for a single fight to close, after a "meeting with the seven moons" in which VERY LITTLE about the seven moons was actually explained, and then a fight, that simply ended with the hostage exchange, nothing more nothing less, and then kio meets a mary sue relative, and now, we meet ANOTHER kio relative.

Im sorry but if you ask me the plot has lost any semblance of direction.

I mean if you ask me, the series is now, less about the advancement of the plot, more about cliche relatives and fights allowing soubi to stand in "smexy" poses for fangirls. Sufice to say as someone who's interest in the series was hanging on a thread (I have often stated if seven died or the plot got lame I'd give it up (as I have, Im just making jaded rants now xD) fun fact, look at the two conditions and guess what I think of the plot xD jkjk) I would probably stop reading)

This chapter picks up from last time where he was held and found by Ritsuka and the others, but now is released (sorry if I have confused right you there).

If my theories and predictions offend you that much, I'm sorry, but I just have some speculations that I have in mind that I would like to share. I don't see why you think that my writing in intellectual knowledge is not up to your standards or anybody elses. Perhaps my way of phrasing didn't catch you on on the right track.

But if what you're saying right now is just about what I need to know about "how to spoil information about a good summary plot or story" thanks. But seriously, that's just plain rudeness and arrogance right there.

Okay, I see now. Well at least I know that you're not trying to get all mean and all XD You did sound somewhat like a jerk (sorry :P). But still, if you're going to make your point across to another member on a disagreement or on a correction at least try to respectful and gentle (not "gentle-gentle", you know what I mean).

And yeah, we do want Kouga-sensei to get on with it with the story and not delay us with another side story of Mary Sues plus some 7 books to get to 15 volumes (according to Kouga) that will really make us plot-deprived. But honestly, yeah, I do want to see the final showdown between Ritsuka and Seimei. But I think that it might be way too soon for that to happen. Ritsuka stiil needs all the training he can get before facing him. Although, as I would like to see it happen right away including all the mysteries of 7 moons and other unsolved cases. But stiil, good things comes to those who wait. Or to some.

Speaking of fangirl service, I wouldn't suppose you would want to see more of Nana would you?

My entire rant was about the direction of the plot of Loveless... I am interested to see how you worked any of your theories into it. I wasn't commenting on them at all.

Yah. Sorry if I sounded rude, Im just under exam/project stress (my university is 2 semesters a year, so this is basically... since thanksgiving until december 1 I have a consistent flow of assignments and exams.. and THEN finals xD)

So Im just stressed/grouchy in general atm. xD But yah, Im just a bit frustrated at the plot due to a few things.... the introduction of certian relatives of kios has me thinking.... dag.... WHERE is the plot going? I mean I will parallel the way the plot seems to me to an X-Files line

"The Kernundrum doesn't answer questions, he only poses them" (p.s dr. blockhead in praticular but also the kernundrum would PWN Soubi. Dr. Blockhead has a tolerance to pain that is through the roof (In the first scene with him he climbs out from under ground (ground starts moving and he comes out) makes a speech and nails a railroad spike into his chest, lets see soubi do that! a nail to the hand? Pfft. Blockhead casually nailed a nail into his nose during a conversation xD as for the kernundrum.... he is covered in tatoos that make his skin look like a jigsaw puzzle, but I digress)

the point being I just feel like Kouga keeps adding question after question after question, even when the plot was AMAZING here are questions I have been waiting forever to be answered but I worry she doesn't plan on until the concluison.

(more casual... but is Shinhonome's brother Mimurillo? they look REALLY similar but it is hard to tell)

WHAT happened to Ritsuka 2 years ago? something that until the bloodless fight had not been mentioned for several books.

WHO is ritsuka's fighter? It ain't soubi we saw both their bonds, not teh same soubi's goes nowhere, ritsuka's does. Furthermore, Nagisa, Yamato, Ai and Midori, all have mentioned the proper loveless fighter, when is said individual gonna show up? (not including the seemingly non-canon books)

WHAT is the signifiance of kio's family? I mean his... last chapters revalation.... said character kinda just appears, says who said character is, and disappears.

SO BASICALLY all this stress combining with my natural snarkyness made me seem like a dick, sry.

as for fanservice and nana-tan..... Touche barahime.... touche xD but really, I think Seven, Kouya and Yamato MAY JUST be intended as Fanservice for the few loveless fans (although there are more bi and lesbian girls who read it than I thought xD) who find women attractive. xD However most of the women (I say women as girls would imply a huge chunk of the cast Im not incredibly interested) in loveless are pretty attractive... of course it IS anime wherein ugly people don't exist BUT I digress....meh rank list

But I share in your dissapointment. That is why I have stopped reading it, as I say, my being a fan was hanging by a thread and if nana died or the plot became lame I was done. WEll guess which one it was.

I mean fucking seriously, what is the next mary sue move going to be? That Ritsuka, from Goura, despite the wishes of Ritsu, Nana and Nagisa (replacing the Steward of Gondor) makes use of.... soubis abilities... to light The Beacon of Amun Di which alerts Yayoi who rallies the Rohirim to save Ritsuka and the forces of Gondor at the Battle of The Seven Voices Academy, however after Yayoi and the Rohirim defeat the Orcs a bunch of guys riding elephants show up and they win because kio shows up with the army of the dead? xD

(to people who like loveless, no offense, kiddo and I are just really dissapointed with the recent chapters, we feel like Kouga is just throwing in as many anime cliches as possible before she ends it. But you can still like it xD)

HOLY FUCK.... Yoji is Canderous... then.... Kio is The Exile..... Mei is Darth.... Darth Sion (If you play the KOTOR games... yes I am aware that is absolutely absurd) .... Yeah, the Loveless story plot has gone somewhere out into another "idiotic-epic-of-a-sob-story in the Twilight Zone". Right now it seems that the Loveless series has slowed down a bit due to lack of imagination and the flow of the story really kills the suspense. But still (from the November post, sorry if I have to bring this up again), I think Kouga-sensei is struggling with the amount of time and frustration that she has to deal with working on another ongoing series in Ward, doing oneshots in Arcana, and the upcoming Gundam 00 movie that won’t be due until 2010 plus she's trying to spend as much time as she can with her daughter. She’s pretty much has her hands tied. But I pray that she will be able to get through and pick the series one step at a time. And to at least get it over with XD

As for Seimei's plans for world domination, I think it's obvious on what he really wants. Well, we only saw half of what he plans for after revealing to Ritsuka that he wants him to join him be his forever in a world for two take over in his so called "New World" as Papa Smurf and kidnapping a Goemon from 7 moons leaving the wheelchair behind .The only thing I'm wondering is what happened to Ritsuka's father. I kind of doubt that he might be behind all of this. For Ritsuka’s fighter, I'm not quite sure but I have 3 guesses. It can be either Osamu, Nakahira, or this little girl here But even if the Loveless fighter shows up, he wouldn’t want to back to him/her because of Soubi. Unless, Soubi in turn goes against him, which we saw last time when Seimei commands him to break the window for him to make his escape, Ritsuka would probably have no choice but to team up with his new fighter.

Really? Bi and Les girls read Loveless? As this shouldn't be so suprising (for me it actually is), it seems like this les stuff has become such huge trend now. There are girls (who are straight or not) who listen to Katy Perry are now converts of "Katy Perry-ism" and some going wild over more female celebs like Megan Fox ot Taylor Swift. I myself don't swing that way (I might), but I do find women to admirable in respect for their talents and achievements. And I agree with you on the theme in anime where only beautiful people exist. But still, I don't know why, but for some reason I feel that all of the anime characters are always anorexic. Not all of them, but some in specific.

Cus I have to say.... he is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, going to have to count on the hope that MAYBE, just MAYBE, guns dont exist in the Lovelessverse and WWII never happened, cus I hate to break it to him, but NO MATTER how good of a strategist he is, NO MATTER how "Dun super numbah 1 fighter Soubi dun is!" no matter WHAT he has, if Loveless America REALLY perceives him as a threat..... well first Im pretty sure their army... or the chinese army.... could wipe him out, BUT lets say the fighters block that.... its a simple matter of unleashing the Nuclear Arsenal with the focus being on Japan. xD

I think it's just going to be a new Japan. I'm sure Seimei doesn’t just want to sit around and do nothing since he last spoke in volume 6 to Nakahira that he abhors laziness.

And here's a brief profile summary: The Bara Hime (character from the anime Saiunkoku Monogatari, where I got my name from) was a member of the Hyo fmaily and was one of the Eight Immortals, as the Red Sage. She had the ability to cure any illness and many men sought her hand in marriage. Her beauty even mesmerized the leader of the Hyo family, Rio, who locked her from the world. The previous emperor saw her as a threat, so he sent a woman called Black Wolf to assassinate her which however ended up failing and dead on the mission. To continue the job, the Emperor appointed a new Black Wolf, Shoka, whose first meeting with Bara Hime made him fall madly in love, abandon his mission, and carry her away. During their time, she returned his feelings. Later, she used the last of her powers to heal Shurei, her daughter, from sickness in exchange for her life.
